Customer Support-Check out Shipping options website integration price. Customer Service you have to schedule an appointment. They do not have live chat. They say you can email, but that remains to be seen. I called last night and it was so damn noisy it sounded as though the rep guy was at a party. I had to schedule a phone call with them that took 12 hours to cal back. They don’t have UPS FED EX shipping options, so you have to buy that programming. If you have an existing website you are screwed! You have to manually enter in all your products and photo’s. Is there a limit on picture uploads? content upload such as posts/blogs…can i make a section of my website dedicated to blogs…is there a specific template used for blogs ? i wanted to make a website and im wondering if being a free user with limit me? Reply Akiva Bruck says: July 22, 2014 at 4:39 am Any time you create a website for free there are gonna be limitations, but the amount of things you can do on wix is really great. However paying for a website can be as low as 4 bucks and can offer a lot more. Reply Brian Bullard says: July 22, 2014 at 5:10 am Apple doesn’t support Flash so I’m wondering why I would use a Flash oriented site like WIX? There are tons of iPads out there and I don’t want to lose those customers. Thanks for any reasonable respo! Reply saturdary says: July 22, 2014 at 6:07 am …often involves ‘mouseover’ input which the mobile users don’t have and on an Android phone, or any other that does support flash, the battery usage would be heavier on a flash website than it would on one which is not flash-built. Second reason being that the redirection thing is a catch-all situation. You can promote your web address and receive traffic to your site(s) from both desktop AND mobile device users with just one address to have them click on. Reply Mike Jones says: July 22, 2014 at 7:50 am I use WIX all the time for creating customers websites and they love it. If you create a WIX free website and decide to purchase a domain for your site, it has to be hosted on WIX servers. You cannot design it and then decide to host it on godaddy.com for example. WIX uses FLASH not HTML. You can create a lot of useful apps in flash for your websites for user friendly web design it doesn’t get any simpler than this. I want to know that is it possible to earn through website made with WIX via Google adsense?? I saw a video at WIX’s official site which stated that we need to upgrade to link it to our adsense account and purchase domain. Reply panavision09 says: July 22, 2014 at 12:09 pm thats a bit harsh. I say, use Wx to start out then upgrade. I live in Japan. Therefore, its not a disadvantage. Reply saturdary says: July 22, 2014 at 12:45 pm …would probably not notice it had been redirected if you really match up the feel and design of the mobile site with the desktop version. Nowadays mobile users are used to getting redirected anyway, that’s just how it is for their web experience with high profile sites. I know that the website builder Moonfruit allows for the creator to redirect mobile users, but I’m not sure about Wix – or whether the free version of Wix would allow this. Hope that helps, here is an example of what I mean Reply W8ComeBack says: July 22, 2014 at 1:04 pm I know how to clear one! xD Reply RP Brothers says: July 22, 2014 at 1:46 pm any one want website then go to RPBrothers.in Reply saturdary says: July 22, 2014 at 1:59 pm with the redirecting… let’s say your domain was “web: alansugar dot wix” and this one obviously contains flash, you could redirect all mobile users to “web: alansugar dot moonfruit” or “web: alansugar dot moonfruit (forward slash) mobile”. If you owned the names and had upgraded to the paid version of these builders, this is even better since the addresses would be shorter. In those quotations I couldn’t write the punctuation so the spaces and dots look odd. There are two reasons why this could be a good idea: one is that trying to get a flash website to an Android device, and I know you mentioned losing users on Apple products, would not make for the best experience for users anyway, flash often involves m Reply Add Your Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.Comment Name (required) Email (required) Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
